Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, said that innovation factories are a new initiative for the development of the innovation ecosystem, and referring to the continuous continuation of the Innovation Spaces Development Program, said: It has expanded dramatically, but the hallmark of innovation factories is that they are developed by the private sector and provide the space to turn innovation into business.

Sattari called the entry of the private sector into investment in the field of innovation a step forward in sustainable development and said: "Polluting, assembling and traditional factories today have given way to innovation, design and development of technological frontiers." It is a matter of congratulations and appreciation that the private sector has devoted such a space to the prosperity and expansion of the innovation ecosystem.

The head of the National Elite Foundation said that the youth activity space has reached more than 30,000 square meters with the implementation of the Aria Innovation Factory and continued: "By creating this innovation factory, several thousand creative and educated young people will find space to work and develop their innovative ideas." And with their businesses, while creating added value and employment, they help solve a problem in society.

The Vice President of Science and Technology announced that Tehran is approaching the smart city and added: "One of the parts of the smart city is to create centers and platforms where young people can turn their ideas into companies." The realization of the smart city requires, above all, an ecosystem, and the areas of innovation complete this ecosystem. Innovation factories are an important and integral part of this ecosystem, and now with the establishment of these factories, Tehran is again close to the realization of a smart city. 

In this ceremony, in the presence of the Vice President of Science and Technology, a memorandum of understanding was signed to establish an Aria Innovation Factory. According to the memorandum, the former factory space of Aria Electronic Iran Company, amounting to 30,000 square meters, will be allocated to the Innovation Factory, a platform for the presence of knowledge-based companies, startups, creative industries, accelerators and shared workspaces.
